Carroll County Library donor wall featuring a tree design with apple and leaf donor plaques recognizing community supporters.
This donor recognition wall at the Carroll County Library features a custom-designed tree motif that symbolizes growth, knowledge, and community support. The sculptural tree is fabricated with a dimensional black trunk and branches, accented by layered leaf and apple-shaped donor plaques in coordinated neutral and red tones. Each apple and leaf represents an individual or family donor, creating a warm, approachable way to recognize generosity.
Mounted on a soft, neutral wall finish and framed by architectural wood trim, the donor wall serves as a welcoming focal point within the library. A circular plaque with an inspirational quote reinforces the library’s mission and gratitude to its supporters. While distinct in form, the installation aligns with the flexibility of a Rail Wall–style donor recognition approach, allowing individual donor elements to be added or updated over time as new contributions are made.
The combination of dimensional elements, thoughtful color palette, and symbolic imagery transforms donor recognition into an engaging visual story—honoring those who help the Carroll County Library continue to educate, inspire, and serve its community.
