Story County Bertha Bartlett Public Library donor recognition wall featuring circular plaques and Scandinavian rosemaling artwork.
Installed at the Story County Bertha Bartlett Public Library, this custom donor recognition wall was created as part of a capital campaign to honor the individuals, families, and organizations that supported the project. The installation features individually sized circular donor plaques arranged in an organic, layered composition, with varying plaque sizes and colors used to clearly represent different giving levels.
A central panel showcases an original rosemaling design, rooted in traditional Scandinavian folk art, with hand-painted floral motifs and rich color that reflect the cultural heritage of Story City. Musical staff graphics and typographic elements flow through the composition, reinforcing the library’s identity and sense of place. The combination of custom fabrication, original cultural artwork, and tiered donor recognition creates a welcoming focal point that celebrates generosity while clearly communicating the impact of the capital campaign.
