About This Project

An outdoor donor recognition wall at Prospect Meadows Sports Complex transforms philanthropy into a bold, community-centered landmark. The centerpiece of the installation is an Iowa-shaped American flag constructed from hundreds of baseballs, creating a striking visual that connects sport, service, and local pride.

The wall is built with a durable combination of concrete, brick, and granite, forming a strong architectural foundation designed to withstand the elements. Powder-coated aluminum baseball donor names are mounted across the surface, providing long-lasting recognition with a clean, consistent finish that resists weathering while maintaining legibility.

Each baseball represents donor support, collectively forming a powerful symbol of unity and shared purpose. The sculptural design celebrates the role of athletics in bringing people together while honoring the individuals and organizations that helped make the complex possible.

Prominent branding elements, including recognition of Rotary International, reinforce themes of service above self and community investment.
