About This Project

A custom double-sided suspended donor wall creates a distinctive centerpiece for the SPCA while recognizing the individuals, families, foundations, and organizations whose generosity supports its mission. The architectural installation is suspended between structural columns, allowing donor recognition to be viewed from both sides as visitors move through the space.

The donor wall features a combination of translucent panels and custom printed aluminum panels, creating depth, dimension, and visual contrast throughout the installation. Individual panels incorporate donor names, giving levels, memorial recognition, and photographs of beloved pets. Varied panel sizes, materials, and finishes add architectural interest while providing flexibility for future donor recognition updates.

Animal photography reinforces the SPCA mission and creates an emotional connection between donors, visitors, and the animals their contributions help support. The translucent elements allow light to interact with the installation, while the printed aluminum panels provide a durable surface for graphics, photography, and recognition messaging.

The double-sided design maximizes visibility without requiring a traditional wall-mounted installation. Integrated into the existing architecture, the suspended donor wall complements the warm wood, stone, and contemporary finishes of the lobby while creating a meaningful and lasting tribute to SPCA supporters.

Custom designed and fabricated by Donor Recognition Wall (DRW), the installation combines translucent and printed aluminum panels, custom graphics, donor recognition, and architectural detailing to create a one-of-a-kind donor wall tailored specifically to the organization and its space.
