The Missoula Insectarium donor recognition wall is a vibrant, story-driven installation designed to celebrate generosity through the powerful metaphor of transformation. Inspired by the life cycle of butterflies, the wall features colorful three-dimensional acrylic butterflies that appear to lift off the surface, creating motion, depth, and a sense of growth throughout the space.

Layered butterfly silhouettes sweep across the wall, guiding visitors along a visual journey that culminates in the message, “Thank you… for giving us wings!” This sentiment reinforces the impact donors have on education, discovery, and the Insectarium’s mission. The dynamic composition is both playful and meaningful, aligning perfectly with the organization’s focus on insects, learning, and curiosity.
